Which makes it that much more fun.
Found this ruffled beauty in Seattle’s Fremont Vintage Mall, one of my five favourite vintage shops.
And had it altered — you can see the before shots here.
So glad I didn’t shorten the sleeves. Sometimes all the frills and gimmicks add a little somethingsomething. Don’t you think?

Oooh, I’m practically swooning over here. That dress is perfection! Once again you prove to have impeccable taste – it’s so girly, yet elegant… sigh.
Oh and congrats on getting your own URL and happy 3 months to your blog! I think mine will be 3 months next week.
who does all your alterations? i need someone i can trust.
For simple hemming and whatnot I go to Susan’s Alterations on Main at 22nd in Vancouver.
But for complicated tailoring I’d go to Oakridge Tailors on Cambie. My husband took his Hugo Boss suits there and was quite happy with how they turned out.
