Graphic designers always have the best blogs. They’re pure scroll-worthy eye candy.

Take Miss Moss, for example.

Edited by Cape Town-based graphic designer Diana Moss, it’s packed with her original photography, fashion picks and — my personal favourite — mood boards, all of which have a simple, yet colourful aesthetic.

Plus, her Cape Town City Guide lists so many cool boutiques it makes me want to go to there.

It’s a lovely glimpse at a creative life on the other side of the world. It’s worth scrolling through again and again. So bookmark Miss Moss  already and bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

If your favourite shots on The Satorialist are of people on bikes (and obviously they are) then Vancouver Cycle Chic will be your new favourite street style blog.

It cuts out all the people-on-foot clutter and gets straight to the good stuff: chic cyclists.

Vancouver’s is an official extension of Copenhagen Cycle Chic (there are offshoot in cities all over the world from Barcelona to Ottawa) but in my very biased opinion, this site is more beautiful than most.

So bookmark Vancouver Cycle Chic already and bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

This P.S. is a PSA: wear a helmet, people. These by Sahn will do the trick.

There’s very little to Lolita — a few images and even fewer words. But the collection of images curated by 21-year-old Katarina, an art director at the Swedish Fashion Council, is spot-on.

It’s a little like Intelligent Clashing in the sense that the site brings together images with little in common other than a colour or a mood. But Lolita is prettier, dreamier, girlier.

And always inspiring. So bookmark Lolita already and bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

Turns out jealousy can be a beautiful thing. Especially when it comes to The Jealous Curator, a blog filled with art that “inspires & depresses” Vancouverite Danielle Krysa.

She’s a designer and artist herself, ya see, and her entire blog is based on the “Damn, I wish I thought of that” feeling we all experience from time to time.

Being neither a designer nor artist myself, I get nothing but joy from scrolling through the photography, paintings, sculptures and embroidery collages she finds.

Never has the green-eyed monster been so beautiful. So bookmark The Jealous Curator already and bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

Scrolling through Intelligent Clashing feels a lot like scrolling through Pinterest — the images are wild and surprising. But Intelligent Clashing takes the randomness down a notch and ties together seemingly unrelated images by a colour, texture or pattern.

Sometimes the connection is abstract, sometimes it’s dead obvious.

But this virtual visual essay is fun to get lost in. So bookmark Intelligent Clashing already and bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

In The Anthology’s Bookmark column we explore some of the most inspiring places on the wild, wild web.

They’re a little creepy, like the portraits in Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion that follow you with their eyes. But they’re also the coolest things ever.

Part picture, part video and all .gif, Cinemagraphs are the brain child of New York-based visual artist Kevin Burg and photographer Jamie Beck.

Their concept spread like wildfire: there’s now a Cinemagr.am app, which, if I wanted to become even more addicted to my iPhone, I would download, and it seems everyone on Tumblr has attempted a version of their own. Still, nobody is doing it as well.

Their fashion editorial portfolio is endlessly inspiring so bookmark Cinemagraphs already. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

In The Anthology’s Bookmark column we explore some of the most inspiring places on the wild, wild web.

Food photography is hard. Like, really hard. At my former agency I worked with a restaurant client and our photo shoots would last all day and involve a photographer, assistant, chef, writer (that’s me!), model (that was also me once!), intern, art director, at least a couple reps from the client and whoever else wanted to get amongst it. There could easily be a dozen of us hovering around a tiny little hamburger, while the food stylist made sure every glob of sauce was just so.

It takes quite a bit to get a food shot right.

Sydney-based photographer Katie Quinn Davies makes it look easy. Her blog What Katie Ate is filled with delicious photos and simple recipes that you don’t have to be a chef to attempt (confession: I have yet to try one). She shares quite a bit about her creative career and her favourite webby finds, too so it’s the perfect blog for those who like eating and looking at things (and I’m pretty sure that’s every single one of us).

So, my foodie friends, bookmark What Katie Ate. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

Thanks, Larissa, for sending this in!

I’ll be the first to admit it: I am a creative creep. And by that I don’t mean that I find creative new ways to creep on people, I mean that I like to creep creative people. And one of those people is Amy Merrick.

The Brooklyn-based floral stylist’s blog is stunningly beautiful in a “makes me wish I kept fresh-cut flowers on my desk” sort of way.

Her photos are quiet, somehow calming.

They make me want to become a better photographer. Or at least a photographer.

If you like pretty things, and I have a feeling you do, then bookmark An Apple a Day. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

If you’re into interior design you’re already well aware of Emma’s Design Blogg. Curated by stylist and writer Emma Fexeus, it’s a collection of exquisite homes decorated in Scandinavian style.

You’ll love it if you like any of the following: white walls, black floors, white walls, tiles, white walls, Herman Miller chairs or white walls.

And I like all of those things. Except for white walls in real life. You need high ceilings and gigantic windows if they’re going to look b-b-b-bad to the bone and I have neither of those things. Still, I find them endlessly inspiring on Emma’s Design Blogg and I think you might too.

So bookmark Emma’s Design Blogg already. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

Thanks, Mom!

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you Cabin Porn, a site filled with inspiration for your quaint, quite place. It’s photo after photo of — what else — cabins.

The chic.

The charming.

The out-of-this-world.

And those that are in the middle of nowhere. Or, more specifically, British Columbia’s Purcell Mountain Range, not far from where these photos were taken.

So bookmark Cabin Porn already. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.

Thanks, Bryce!
