Style for thought

If you could have anyone’s wardrobe — alive or otherwise, fictional or not — whose would it be? My friend Briony would chose the Queen of England.

For two reasons: one, she figures she’d still have all her clothes from the past eight decades; and two, she wouldn’t mind having the crown jewels.

I’m having trouble picking one person’s. I’d love my sister’s wardrobe, and all my girlfriends’ too.

Briony made her necklace by stringing antique keys and a pendant on a piece of leather. So simple, so cute.

Her bag is vintage.

Think about it. If you could pick anyone’s wardrobe whose would you chose? Jacqueline Kennedy’s? Jane Aldridge’s? Carine Roitfeld’s?

To be honest, I’d almost rather build my own. Being a typical Gemini (does anyone else hate astrological-sign-dropping? it’s worse than name-dropping) my inspirations change at the drop of a hat.

What an interesting question and so hard to answer with just one person! At the moment, I would say the Olsen twins as cliched as that sounds. Their wardrobe seems vast and varied and I really love their eclectic style.

Btw, would you be interested in exchanging links?

Jennifer — I would agree if it meant I could have the clothing budget of anyone I chose. Does that make me a typical Aquarius?

    Garnett — thank you!

MizzJ — Love the Olsens and I’d love to exchange links.

if i were to pick a wardrobe to own, it’d from Anna dello Russo, Mary Kate Olsen, or Charles Guislain.
