Fill your boots, friends! The Anthology and Freedman Shoes want to give you a pair of Frye Veronicas, the classic boot that’s been adored by the likes of Keira Knightley, Cameron Diaz, and now you.
With rugged, wear-anywhere steeze, you’ll be rocking these all through the fall and winter (and if next summer’s anything like this one, you’ll be wearing them then too). They retail at Freedman for $449.95 (yes, you read that right) but you could win a pair. How?
For one entry: Comment on this post and tell us how you’d rock them — I’d wear them with a flowy floral dress. You know, for contrast’s sake.
For two entries: Write on The Anthology’s Facebook wall and tell us why you absolutely have to have a brand new pair of Fryes.
For three entries: Holler @TheAnthology on Twitter.
The contest is open to any reader near a Freedman Shoes location — Metro Vancouver, Victoria, Calgary, Kelowna, Oakville and Richmond Hill (winner picks up at the Freedman store nearest her). The lucky winner will be chosen on August 30th (contest closes 5:00pm PST 30/08/11). Good luck!
UPDATE: And we have a winner! Congratulations Melissa B.!

Since I’m a buttoned-up girl, and a little preppy, I would wear them this fall with my Joe’s Jeans denim leggings tucked in, my silk purplish-magenta button-up shirt, and a long black jacket. Or if I get a new cape, I’d wear it over this ensemble, just in time for an autumn hayride!
I’d wear them with skinny jeans and a shirt. Perhaps top it off with a leather jacket too!
Holla from @ang3t
i’d wear them with jeans AND a puffy prada dress together. lots and lots of silver jewelry to accessorize.
holy moly i want these so bad. i’ve never had a pair of frye boots and they are just so beautiful! i would definitely rock them with something boho to avoid looking too biker-chic. (but well done to anyone who can pull that off)
i’m thinking a pair of loose-fitting, floral shorts, a simple white tank, and a beige knit vest.
I’d wear these denim shorts and a chambray shirt half tucked in half tucked out and my signature piece for the Fall – my rust coloured felt hat.
I would wear them with a pair of skinny jeans and a feminine top! Love them.
I would love to wear them with an old Gap skirt that I’ve had for years – it’s silk and has a farm scene on it. (Back when clothes at the Gap weren’t all black, beige or white, sigh.) That and a white tank and a long necklace. I can picture it now!
I’d LOVE a pair of Frye’s!
I would go the classic route with skinny jeans, white t-shirt and a cardigan.
I’d pull these on with my favorite pair of Levi’s skinnies, worn in white T and black leather bomber jacket. Feminine accents like a long necklace or feathery earrings would be my choice accessory. They’d make me feel badass!
They would complete my ‘uniform’ of skinnies, white shirt & a scarf
I would DEFINITELY rock these with a romantic, frilly dress and a loose knit cardigan. Then I would pair some over the knee socks with the boots! I cannot wait for fall! :)

I hollered on twitter and am now following :)
I also wrote on your FB wall!
OOOOooooh Love these! They’d be my fall/winter go-to boots so I’d rock them with leggings, sheer chiffon tunics and chunky cardigans.

i’ve always wanted a pair of Frye boots. They pretty much go with anything – for fall I would pair them with skinny cords, a Cowichan sweater and a cozy knitted hat.
Perfect for fall and winter in Raincouver! I’d wear them with my new army green khaki skinnies, a cozy sweater and leopard scarf.
One of the (many) beauties of Frye boots is that they will go with anything; skinnies + your fave cotton tee or juxtaposed with a pretty feminine dress & soft cashmere cardigan.
I’d wear them with dark skinny jeans and an oversized wrap sweater. I CAN’T WAIT TO WEAR THEM.
I’d wear these beauties on the beach in the winter with a frothy skirt and warm fisherman sweater, naturally!
First of all, what an incredible give-a-way! Secondly, I’d wear these babies with EVERYTHING, but especially skinny blue jeans, a simple white v-neck tee, a green army jacket and a fall coloured scarf (I just picked up a great brown circle scarf from H&M). I think I’d also go all out motorcycle chick with a black leather jacket, jeans and a graphic tee.
Talk about perfect timing on the giveaway. I’m more than ready for autumn to begin! Not like summer ever really started, but I actually quite liked the summer we had. I’d wear the boots with some black tights, ripped denim shorts, a white t-shirt and a boyfriend blazer. Thanks for having such a great giveaway dear!
i’d wear them with jeans, my wu tang t-shirt topped off with my oversized oak + fort cardi. EVERYDAY.
ohhhhh… this is one giveaway, I’d absolutely love to win!
I’d have to pair them with denim shorts… and a shirt… or possibly something fringed!
they would go so well with a nice summery dress too….
I would wear them with a lace cream crochet dress I plan on getting for fall!

These would be my back to school treasures if I won, so to stay practical yet chic I’d pair them with a pair of tight jeans (maybe in a Bordeaux or red hue if I’m feeling particularly adventurous), a button down over-sized silk top, a big cozy cashmere scarf, and red lips!
Thanks for the amazing giveaway love, I’m off to do the two extra entries now! I need these babies!

Skinny jeans with a white top, a girly dress with a cardigan, or maybe just in my undies…. really what don’t these go with?
I’d wear them with dark blue urban outfitters jeans, a white flowy top and a wreath of flowers in my hair
LOVE this giveaway. Seriously. I’ve wanted these boots since…forever.
I’d rock these boots with dark denim skinny jeans and a military green sheer blouse.
Thanks for the giveaway!

I’ve been coveting a pair of these for a while now. I would keep it simple with a shift dress and cardigan. A perfect back-to-school look.
I’d rock them with skinnies and a button up shirt or a dress with leggings!
I did all 3 entries, great giveaway!
I’d wear them with thin black tights, under a flowery romper cuz i love wearing summer clothes in all seasons and a boyfriend blazer with my vintage gold locket necklace. I might add a belt to my romper if i’m in the mood. I would wear my ‘golden’ thick bracelet too.
I will wear them with black tights, a sequined mini skirt, a white t-shirt and my vintage black boyfriend blazer and one of my great aunts brooches on the lapel with my black eelskin clutch……to name ONE outfit! :-)
Hmm gotta go classic rock with this one… I’m thinking with ripped denim shorts, a vintage tee layered with a crochet vest, a black hat and a ton of rings and layered bracelets.
With my RL leggings and this awesome long grey tank top (it’s bedazzled with cool little pieces of metal around the neckline and my leather jacket. And OF COURSE finish it off with some Taisa Anderson original jewelry :)
these beautiful boots + some dark wash jeans + a classic white tee + a chunky sweater + a great cognac colored bag = a very happy me this fall :)
Pants and sweater
definitely floral dress+denim jacket!
I would rock these boots the way Drew Barrymore rocked Docs in the 90s. Day: Over sized ‘flash dance’ sweater under a motorcycle jacket and over my yoga gear (I’m a teacher …not lazy) going from class to class. Night: Army jacket balanced with a beautiful and very feminine vintage dress. A dash of grunge and a hint of red lips!
If I could own these exquisite boots made by Frye
I would wear them with my favorite pieces…if the weather was dry
Perhaps with a tunic – on my way to J.J. Bean’s
or with a deep purple cardigan and my new skinny jeans
I would wear them in the winter with a long cozy sweater
while I walk through the park with my faithful Irish Setter
I would dye my hair to match them – a rich shade of red
I would wear them all day and night – and until I went to bed
These boots are a staple that I can’t afford to buy
and I would be so thrilled to own them – I would honestly cry
I’d wear them with anything and everything. I love them and I want them.
With skinny jeans while trekking back at UBC this fall (going back to grad school!)
Hmm… I think I’d like to rock them with an oversized Alexander Wang sweater and some LuluLemon wunderunders and some really awesome thick socks sticking out of the top…. for weekend obviously :)
I have come so very close to owning a pair of Frye’s but it wasn’t meant to be.. I would love and cherish a pair of Veronica’s forever and ever. My first outfit would be a a floral dress with tights and a cardigan and my beautiful caramel leather jacket. And pearl earrings for good measure because pearls and biker boots go together like ice cream and apple pie in my opinion.
What wouldn’t I be wearing these with? Flowy Dress? Check! Leggings and sweaters? Check!! Jeans, shorts, skirts?? Triple check! That’s the great thing about a great new pair of boots, you can make them work with anything. These beauties would pull together any outfit, and make the prospect of summer retreating just a little easier to bear.
I’d wear them with black tights, grey linen shorts, a white tank and over-sized cardigan (any colour!). And most likely skinny jeans with a feminine top…can’t go wrong there.
I would keep them for a Saturday when I was wandering around! Which would call for a relaxed look, grey wool tights, white tank top and a chunky cable knit cream sweater. Love!
Skinny jeans and a chambray button-up, with a bright mustard scarf.
First off, I am entering three times for these babies!
I have always wanted Frye boots. I’d wear these with black or denim skinny jeans and a light oxford shirt, under a nice autumn-y jacket. These are gorgeous.
I’d wear them with skinny jeans and my baby girl in the Ergo. Tough mama with a soft baby.
Frye boots – my absolute favourite! I’d rock them with thick knitted socks (the long-ish ones that peek over the top of boots!), skinny jeans or jeggings, my American Apparel silk sheer-ish blouse, and a leather jacket.
