Ever since I went to Coachella and fell in love with the desert.
Now, I can check it off my list. Because when I was in California a few weeks ago, I got up well before the crack of dawn to catch this…
And boy was it worth it. 6:00 am never looked so good.
Now I’ve got the desert in my bones. And closet. I found this southwest-inspired scarf at a thrift shop and it hasn’t left my side since.
All the colours — the pinks and peaches and pastel purples — you see them in the landscape. (You know what else you see in the landscape? Me, doing my best Joshua Tree impression.)
I can’t wait to go back to the desert next spring and check “Coachella 2011” off my bucket list. Till then, I’ll be wearing this scarf and pretending it isn’t pouring rain in Vancouver.
P.S. Check “Win a £ 385.oo pearl necklace” off your bucket list.

LOL at the Joshua Tree impression! I had to stare at it for a few good seconds. The scarf is such a great find.

[…] kind of way. These days, every ad campaign, music video and look book seems to be shot in the middle of the desert, and for good reason — the light is gorgeous, the landscape is eerily baron and the weather […]
