It’s everyone’s favourite colour, isn’t it?
Love when tone on tone on tone comes across as anything but monotone. Like, say, with this dress.
‘Tis vintage. And pleated. (And belted.)
And my earrings. Those cheap, cheap, cheap (and cheerful) feather wonders from Forever 21.
And my go-to blue shoes. (Which I also wore lawn bowling. They may not be flats, but they’re wedges. Which means the bottom of them are flat. That’s allowed on the greens, right?)
It’s all perfect for a day when the sky is bluer than blue. (I love you, summer!)

LoooOOOOVVEEE IT (high tone). I like your pleated dress. I agree, wedge is okay, heels tend to sink when you’re on the grass. It happened to me and I felt silly… okay, I felt stupid. LOL.
Pretty! All the blue tones look so cheerful when combined. And isn’t F21 the best for inexpensive costume jewelry? I’ve been ogling their statement necklaces lately.
I definitely have the blues, everything I’ve bought lately seems to be royal blue.
I love your dress and the earrings (I saw those when I was at forever 21 buying some skirts and headbands of course).
What a perfect outfit for our amazing Vancouver weather! Those blues all work so well together. Lovely :)

I’ve been doing the blue and white combo…but your version is way better and less nautical

Kaye – wedges on grass are a must, aren’t they? I’m in an outdoor wedding this weekend and I think I’m going to have to wear wedges just to make sure I don’t sink into the grass while walking down the aisle.
Lisa – I am the. biggest. fan of costume jewelry. I think it’s the old lady in me.
Lexie – It’s funny how you can get into a blue groove, isn’t it? But when it matches the sky, why not?
Melissa — Thank you! And I was laughing so hard when you said you missed my posts — my mom was heckling me about the same thing just minutes before I got your tweet.
Quelle — Thanks, milady! It was one of those vintage finds that you just treasure forever.
Teresa — But I love nautical! Yachts, sailing, Disney-style pirates — the high seas are for me.
Melissa — Thank you! It’s such a gorgeous blue-gray. Love it too!
Couture Carrie — Loved your blue post. So inspiring!
Loving this deep blue colour on you!
And with a touch of white.. Even better..
Gorgeous..

I think it’s impossible to make blue boring. Especially your dress’s shade of blue. It’s gorgeous!
For sure my favorite color! I really love those shoes, they are adorable!

Awesome, keep up the great posts
Thanks for this. often it can be tough to pick the best wedding shoes. So often women will go for great looking shoes. But also they need to keep in mind about their comfort. Wearing an uncomfortable pair can ruin a woman’s best day, isn’t it?
Love how the blue of her shoes was matched with the blue feathered earrings!
