Unlike my sister-in-law Jaclyn, who has her jewelry neatly displayed, I strew my rings and things all over the house.
Responsible? No. But now that I’ve got a bunch of oyster shells to store them in, my little piles of jewelry are so much more interesting.
‘Tis the easiest thing in the world: I found oyster shells on the beach, cleaned them off, boiled them (to take out the ocean funk), et voila.
Makes me wish I wore more pearls.

I love this idea, it’s unique and pretty. I just have this dinky plastic basket thing from the dollar store that I throw all my rings in.. I should really change that lol
well look at you, how cute and creative are you??! love this idea. my rings are all mad at me right now. i use and abuse them.
im going to post these on my blog :) come check it out…

I really like the photos too.
what a neat idea – very cute. i think large scallop shells might work nicely too.
I’m loving that last ring!
my jewelry is scattered everywhere as well, but I kind of like it, it gives my room a fun look
Wow. Very nice. I have a feeling that if I tried to pull this off, I would end up with scattered shells as well as scattered jewellery everywhere. Hats off to you!
I love this idea, I have a bunch of shells but never thought of using them for jewelry dishes!
That’s so cute, definitely going to do that now
i’m constantly trying to think of ways to store my jewelry – this is one of my favourite ideas yet!
now if only i lived by an ocean….
Such an EXQUISITE idea for such ELEGANT jewelry!:))

I love this! So creative and your jewelry is gorgeous :)
You’re so creative! I swear, your jewellery must be the most nicely stored ever what with this idea, and didn’t you do a post awhile back where you stored some on these decorative plates? Makes me feel shameful of my random box of tangled necklaces haha
omg! this is a brilliant idea! i love it! you’re so crafty (compared to me)
What a pretty idea! Beautiful photos too.
