I prefer to ask people who are actually talented with sewing machines, glue guns and millgrain lathe tools to create things for me. So this week will be all about those custom-made pieces.
Like this dress I had made out of raw silk, the world’s most beautiful fabric.
I’m actually looking for another excuse to wear it.
Where would you sport it? Grocery shopping?

This blog’s great!! Thanks :).
Anywhere sweetie – anywhere! that dress is so glamorous and sweet – very you =)
That dress is sensational!! I don’t think there’s anything wrong with donning it for a bit of grocery shopping, when I’m feeling a little down I frequently feel the urge to absurdly overdress for everyday chores!
What a gorgeous dress!! Absolutely love it! Great blog as well.
gorgeous dress. i would totally throw a tea party to wear it to! xx
Thanks for the very sweet notes!
Can you imagine it with a pair of Wellies at the dog beach? Oh my word.
If I thought that dress would ever fit me, I’d fight ya for it.
And then I’d only wear it on special days. Like Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat, and twice on Sun.
:D
Melissa, I should warn you:
