Like Zach. I owe the fact that I’m able to work with a three-month-old baby to that BabyBjorn she loves so much + a variation on the same theme.

curtains

Studio space. The beautiful Union Bridal + a workspace I wouldn’t mind calling my own.

Pink accents

Pop of pink. My officemate wears a lot of pink + so does that office chair.

Home and someone elses

Frozen in time. My living room (as photographed by my toddler) + a living space with a similar vibe.

stripes

Stripes and strawberries. Chamomile tea and cheddar bunnies are an unusual food pairing, I’ll give you that much + a far less unusual pairing: stripes and bloomers.

Kelsey Dundon Global Television Spring Trends 2

They say if you don’t like the weather in Vancouver you should wait five minutes. I say you should layer up. For my latest Wear It Well segment on Global Television I brought in three of my favourite takes on layering for these not-quite-spring days. The first look? A super minimal take on a tissue-weight turtleneck and long, heavy cardigan from Oak + Fort.

Banana look

The second? A suiting vest layered with lace and cashmere from Banana Republic.

The third? A floral dress worn as a tunic and warmed up with a linen jacket and blanket scarf from Plenty.

Pinstagram | Bring your kid to work day

KD and office

Workspace. I brought my baby with me to do a pull for a segment, which technically makes that a bring-your-kid-to-work day + a home office I’d become a Kardashian for.

Necklace and Alexa

Colours of the year. A necklace (from LOFT) in serenity and rose quartz + Alexa Chung in similar Pantone-approved tones.

Hearts

I heart it. Valentine’s Day wins my heart every time + a print just dripping with pink.

Kids clothes

Like a hurricane. My toddler likes to dress herself + a kid’s wardrobe that’s neater than mine could ever be.

bed

Reading in bed. This is what she got all dressed up for + an adorable earthy kid’s room.

Knitwear is having a moment. And I whole-heartedly endorse that, especially the luxe head-to-toe knitwear worn by the likes of Gigi Hadid.

So to kick off Wear It Well, a new segment I’m doing with Global Television and Metropolis at Metrotown, I celebrated all things knit.

The work look on the left is from LOFT, the Gigi Hadid-inspired look in the middle is from Roots and the long cardigan and jeans (tough to see in the above shot, I know) are from Bench.

Juicy. A thirst-quenching treat from Commodity Juicery + a pear tart.

Walls

Climbing the walls. My little monkey on the world’s coolest climbing wall + adorable wallpaper, which isn’t actually custom wallpaper made of that kid’s art, but the work of Gael Davrinche.

Throwback. A print from a campaign I creative directed that hangs in my living room (read more about that campaign here) + a home so full of windows there would be no place to hang art at all.

The dream vs. the reality. My office always looks insane when I’m in the middle of a project + an office where everything is — enviably — in its place.

Yeah! The best wedding-themed card I’ve ever seen (at Front) + electric love.

Bioderma

No-makeup look. My favourite after-segment ritual is taking off my stage makeup (Bioderma is such a drugstore miracle!) + beautiful bottles.

Come as you are. A Halloween costume made entirely of my kid’s everyday wardrobe + a little one with similar fashion sense.

Style | Falling for fall/winter

Geox Jacket

Fall/winter seems to be everyone’s favourite time for fashion. Maybe because you have to wear so much of it in order to brave the elements? Or is it just the size of the fall fashion issues that get everyone drooling? Or the prospect of holiday parties and the dresses that go along with them?

All I know is fall/winter clothes get people really excited. Which made me (and my bump) especially excited to share three key trends for the season on Global TV featuring beautiful pieces from Geox (like the jacket pictured at the top), Club Monaco, Plenty, BCBGMAXAZRIA (like the faux suede top I’m holding above), Bench., and Ecco.

Pinstagram | Pink, Emerald and Gold

Green machine. I showcased an emerald green baby bump during a recent trend presentation on Global TV + a very friendly dinosaur room.

Black and white. Above and behind the scenes at a recent Wardrobe Rescue makeover I did on Global TV (thanks for the photo, Zoe!) + an illustration that would make pretty cool wallpaper for a powder room.
