Well, kinda. My friend Ashley requested that I create this dress out of some vintage wonder and then give it to her.

If only.

This shirt was a dress. I don’t have a before shot, but if you imagine what a hip grade four teacher would have worn in 1985, you get the idea.

My favourite thing about it? The tie-up sleeves.

This mirror’s from the Cross in Vancouver, by the way. The shirt/dress is from Deluxe Junk in Gastown. And the YSL belt is from Crossroads in Seattle.
though I do have the t-shirt. But boy oh boy, is there a lot of inspiration to be found on Dropsnap.jp.

After I posted about Hel-looks I got a bunch of emails from you guys saying how much you loved it. Dropsnap might be even more addictive.
One of them would be the linen pants I got on Rab Island.

I also love Leroy for many reasons.

One of them would be his lopsided ears.
That’s how my sister described the colour of my vintage skirt.

I don’t know how my cat Getty would describe it.

But I do know she’s not happy that I woke her up from her nap.

I am obsessed with the way my friend Sonja mixes her rings — antique, brand new and completely redone.

The top one is an antique given to her by her husband. The diamond band in the middle was a gift to herself.

The bottom one is her wedding ring, which she recently had engraved by Era Design in Vancouver.
That was all my friend Ashley wrote when she sent me this crocheted cuff.

I thought I’d elaborate: I love it.
