You’re going to go see Mayer Hawthorne. What do you wear?
If you answered a sweater vest, skinny tie and thick-rimmed glasses, you really should be in the band. Went to see the LA-based crooner last night. And rocked out. (Haven’t heard him? Have a listen here. And while you’re at it, send the link to your mom. She’ll like his retro sound too. I’d bet my ironic v-neck sweater on it.)
Wore stripes and plaids.
My homemade paint-splattered cut-off Levi’s.
And my new grey Converse All Stars.
Which were a gift from Converse. (Thank you guys! If I had half the talent of Mayer Hawthorne, I’d write you a love song.)
P.S. Pop quiz: what should you add on Facebook? If you answered The Anthology you get 10 bonus points.
Kelsey! Do I see bigger pictures?! I can see your adorable face and outfits better :)
Mmm, free Converse. They used to be made right around here – my friend used to get hers at the factory store when she was a kid! (now they’re made in China, of course… sigh)
Hey, keep an eye on them to see if they fall apart unusually quickly – I’ve had problems lately.
Glad he puts on a good show!
Is it actually still warm enough in Vancouver to wear shorts? That’s depressing.
Kaye — You’re the first person to comment about the bigger pictures. Yes! I enlarged everything. Glad you like!
Camille — Converse used to be made in Boston? Who knew?
Kat — Well, no, it’s not exactly warm enough to wear shorts in Vancouver. But it is warm enough to wear shorts in the sweaty club where the concert was.
I love the plaid and stripes mix! Also love the converse, good ol’ converse :)
yay side profile face shot! you look adorable and those are some dancer legs you got there ;). if i were to wear this though, I would probably look like a 10 yr old!
I love your outfit combination and the bigger photos! YAY!
I love your combination of plaid and stripes. And those converse… I have the exact pair :)
You are so cute! Love your new gray converse and the plaid/stripe mixed patterns actually work perfectly. Probably only on you though, I definitely don’t think I could pull it off!
