And if you’re in Vancouver, might I suggest you stop by Barefoot Contessa on Main Street? And might I also suggest you put a little window shopping in your shopping?
I styled the windows of Vancouver’s favourite independent boutique. The theme I chose? Le weekend. (I’m Saturday and Sunday’s biggest fan.)
Packed one window with pretty party dresses, chunky jewelry and disco balls perfect for a Saturday night dance party.
And the other with frilly floral dresses perfect for Sunday afternoon high tea. (Is there a better excuse to get dressed up and get together with your girlfriends? Nope.)
Already one of the dresses sold right out of the window. (They’re ridiculously pretty. I can’t take credit.)
Thank you, Barefoot Contessa, for the invitation. I had a blast! And I can’t wait to see how the other Vancouver bloggers decorate the windows.
P.S. If you’re tweeting this weekend, might I suggest you follow The Anthology?
I love it Kelsey!!! You did such a great job!
Wow! What a great idea. Awesome job, Kelsey!
Love it! The dresses look so pretty too.
Window design looks like such a fun job, lucky you that you got the opportunity to do this! Hehe bet it was pretty easy too with so many pretty things from the Barefoot Contessa!
I must get down to Main Sreet to see your amazing styling!

That is so amazing! That is such a great idea to have bloggers decorate the windows and you did a great job!
Ohmigosh this is truly the coolest thing EVER, Kelsey! I have always wanted to style a shop’s windows! I only wish I could see your work up close and personal – as opposed to via photographs!! :)
How cool is that? What an opportunity!
what a cool idea – kudos to barefoot contessa and to you for a great partnership. great exposure for both and such a fun creative project. hope you get to do more of these – maybe for some vintage shops around town since they always look so dodgey.
