A few weeks ago we got the pup a new look. Out went his sissy hand-me-down floral collar, in came his real man-dog collar.
It’s b-b-b-bad to the bone.
But when I started thinking about it, I realized my own Michael Kors tank top had similar flat rivets.
I know dogs and their owners are supposed to look alike.
But dress alike?
Leroy will turn out to be a well disciplined dog.
Because whenever I see him pull a stunt like this I just laugh.
And then I take pictures.
Is potting soil really that comfy, pup?

For obvious reasons.
If you asked Leroy, he’d probably tell you Whistler is his new favourite place.
Much of it, like Lost Lake, is still covered in snow. And so, so beautiful.
He spent forever running and digging and having the time of his life. Right up until a cranky old corgie ruined his fun.
What is it about the snow that’s just so, so much fun?
I could not be more proud.
Leroy graduated puppy school.
With flying colours.
I didn’t realize how much Leroy had changed until I stumbled upon this photo.
His ears were so floppy, his fur so fuzzy (and his paws so huge). Thought I’d include a shot of someone who still weighs 8 lbs.

And still the baby beast prefers dry land.
Spent the whole weekend by the water and Leroy barely dipped his toes in the surf. This photo makes me smile, though. Partly because he looks so thrilled to be leaving the beach and partly because my city looks so pretty in the background.
You’d think with his webbed feet, he’d love the water.
Nope.
that part of me hopes his ears stay this way?
So symmetrical too.
Puppy preschool can really wear a guy out.
