I can’t remember the last show I went to (I’m pregnant, I have a toddler, I pass out at 9:30 every night).
But I don’t need to actually have attended any of these shows in order to appreciate the gig posters by Milwaukee-based design studio Catharsis.
Medium poster-sized and $25USD a pop, they’re a bright, colourful way to capture a moment in time.
Even if you actually slept right through it.

Mustard yellow doesn’t sound all that glamorous but, boy, does it look it. It’s like a little bit of muted sunshine for your closet and your floor.
Wear: A day dress at Totokaelo (one of my favourite stops in Seattle).
Where: A kitchen (with art in it!) designed by INT2 Architecture.

Workspace. My office is never tidy enough to shoot anything but a patch of floor + a corner of an art studio that looks suspiciously tidy.
Somebunny loves them. Selling breakfast to a toddler + a kitchen that could sell anything to anyone.

Style, my friends, is Natasha Goldenberg.
She rocks Prada like it were vintage. She always looks put together and a little undone, like only a European can.
Is it the hair? The minimal makeup? The attitude?
Or the fact that she’s always shot on a cobblestone street near a 100-year-old doorway, by the water with her daughter, or out at night with her glamourous friends?
I don’t know, but she’s selling the European lifestyle like few can. And boy, am I buying it.

I don’t remember how I first stumbled across Erin Williamson’s blog Design Crisis (probably Pinterest. It’s usually Pinterest.) but I am so glad I did.
It’s beautiful, quirky, inspiring and shows you all the guts, dyed fingers…
…and real-life mess that go into a design project. 
Her finished products are always so bold, so full of personality, but they’re often done economically with treasures hunted from vintage shops and eBay.There’s a whole lot of love that goes into the homes she works on. Including her own.
She doesn’t post nearly often enough (but hey! Neither do I.) but Design Crisis is definitely worth bookmarking. And bookmark The Anthology while you’re at it.
