Me? I covet Judy Aldridge’s Balenciagas. But my sister-in-law Jaclyn dreams of these Louboutins.
“Is it just me,” she asks, “Or do these shoes have a halo above them?”
Cannot control myself when it comes to vintage pieces — especially handbags, skirts and jewelry. Picked up four dresses at Bohemia Gallery on Main Street in Vancouver and am getting them altered as I type. (Can’t sew my way out of a paper bag so I take my pieces to Susan’s Alterations, where my gal is always appalled by how short I want the hemline.)

Completely and totally obsessed with Jak and Jill. The photos on that blog are absolutely, hands down, out of this world spectacular. Case in point:
Jane Aldridge of seaofshoes.com has the raddest sense of style. No surprise that her mom Judy does too. The designer’s blog is a mix of home and style inspiration with quite a few DIY tips mixed in.
She added the pizazz to her 501s, for example.
And her dining room balances modern and rustic perfectly.
Went for brunch yesterday with my girlfriends and got a pic of Laura who looked b-b-b-bad to the bone in her School Bus yellow jacket.
The colour looks spectacular against Vancouver’s greyness, doesn’t it?
