‘Tis vintage, this dress.
And I’m going to bet it’s from the ’60s.
And I’m also going to bet it was worn by a flight attendant (can’t you just imagine the matching hat?).
And also, that she flew to Rome a lot. Because it just seems like something she would do.

love the dress and love your (possibly real) story behind it. <3
i would have said copenhagen.
and she loves champagne in the sky
love the red dress and how you paired it with that black vest! great pseudo-story too, I’d totally buy it ;)
do you think about Rome because of the red colour?

I like the idea it was for a flight attendant….

Love the outfit!
I’ve thought about checking out Legends but I just don’t have much luck with vintage. Never hurts to look though! :)
Ooh that dress is so, so gorgeous! Hope you’re having a beautiful day :)
Great dress! I bet this flight attendant enjoyed cocktail hour to the fullest and powdered her nose with a glam compact in the ladies’ room.
Do you ever watch Mad Men? Remember that flight attendant that came on strong to Don in one strange episode about his birthday? Your fictional flight attendant lady reminded me of her.
You could look up old airline uniform patterns to see if your theory is right? And check for any tags on the inside for clues.
Gorgeous!
redalicious!!!
I would have said Moscow (Red Sq, communism etc)
What a beautiful red for fall. You bring out the colours in the trees and the leaves around you!
ah the hat…how cute would that be?
i’ve been in legends once or twice but no luck for me there. but you will be proud of me as I scored a vintage Escada jacket – will be posting that one soon =D
