And yes, it involves shopping. The first-ever Fashionista’s Ball takes place this Sunday with bonafide vintage treasures, designer pieces from just a few seasons ago, fine jewelry, a silent auction, door prizes and more.
The best part? All proceeds go to the United Way.
The Women United in Philanthropy have collected more than 3000 perfect-condition pieces from some of Vancouver’s most stylish women (including many donated by you wonderful Anthology readers — thank you!).
So spread the word, bring your friends and shop selflessly! The Fashionista’s Ball takes place this Sunday, May 29th, from 10:00 – 4:00 at 1095 West Pender Street in Vancouver.

UPDATE: I just heard that the Fashionista’s Ball raised an astounding $70,000 for the United Way of the Lower Mainland this weekend. An amazing, amazing feat! Kudos to all of you who donated, volunteered and shopped for a worthy cause.
