On the bright Side

You’d never know it to look at me (I’m as pale now as when I left), but when I was in Turkey I spent ten days on the Mediterranean.

A few of those were spent in Side where we’d walk through the ruins on the way to the beach, on the way to dinner, on the way to go shopping, on the way to wherever.

I bought my flowy pants at a small shop in a nearby town — they tie up twice (quite complicated), but they’re quite pretty with subtle embroidery at the waist and hem. I never really wear white (except, of course, for my wedding dress) but I love white pants. Would love a pair in linen too.

Welcome back! I’m glad you had such a great time… all these images are so gorgeous. I really need to go back. I was there in 2005 but only spent 4 days there. And love the flowy pants. I remember getting something like that in Thailand – it was really complicated to tie around the waist as well. In fact… I’m pretty sure I’ve forgotten how to do it already…

It’s funny how you wear some items only on vacation – like I would wear those flowy white pants on vaca, but never here in Van and I don’t know why b/c they’re so nice lol. Those are great photos, I love the color and the lines of the ruins, so elegant.

So spectacular – beautiful pictures of the ruins and those flowy white pants are the perfect item to wear while vacaying in the Med…ah….

You look so tall and beautiful in that last picture – what a beautiful snap.
