Bright and early Monday morning I’ll be stopping by Global BC to talk beachwear — the kind of thing I’d love to be lounging in right about now. And you better believe this tasselled tote bag from H&M at Metropolis at Metrotown will be making an appearance. It’s totes beachy!
Style and Fashion
The Anthology’s Pinstagram column marries the dream (Pinterest) and the reality (Kelsey Dundon’s Instagram photos of places and faces in and around Vancouver).
Jeans and a tee. A graphic t-shirt designed for Easter Seals’ Woman 2 Warrior (which I’ve worked with many times before) + an even more casual take on the jeans a t-shirt look.
Hideaway. Her favourite spot + what would be my favourite spot to read and hang out.
Goop read. My cookbook collection is rather embarrassing + a radish salad GP would totally approve of.
Wrought iron. A room divider at The Cross + ornate designs in Barcelona.
Paper party. A creative use of wrapping paper + a creative use of wallpaper.
P.S. There are more photos where these came from so follow @KelseyDundon on Instagram.
What were you doing bright and early Saturday morning? Sleeping in? Well, you know what they say, you snooze, you lose…the chance to watch my trends segment live.
But no matter! My latest, featuring three of the biggest trends for summer (key colours, key silhouettes, and key-carrying handbags), is available right here.
Featuring looks from Club Monaco, Aritzia, BCBGMAXAZRIA, and Marciano, it made for a very summery start to the weekend. Take a look…
Thank you, Global Television and Metropolis at Metrotown, for having me! Thanks, Jerome Insorio and Hayley Hudson, for your help!

Go long. That’s a sports reference I don’t quite get (something to do with football?) but, as a style and design reference, I get it 100%. And it’s a slam dunk in my books (I know, I know, wrong sport, but you get where I’m going with it).
Wear: The Casablancas Maxi Dress by Free People for instant street style drama.
Where: Add a wide, slightly faded runner from Semikah Textiles for instant hallway drama.
Getting dressed on hot summer days is all fun and games until it comes to the work week. It’s hot during your commute and scorching on the patio after hours, but it’s freezing cold when you’re sitting under the AC vent in your office.
This morning I brought three looks from Michael Kors, Banana Republic and LOFT to help you get through both extremes. (I’m wearing Zara and Aldo, with a linen skirt I bought in Ireland.)
Watch the clip!
Thanks for having me, Global Television and Metropolis at Metrotown! And thanks for your help, Jerome Insorio and Hayley Hudson!

I remember being taught that when heading out to the mountains, you should bring clothes for every weather possibility because you never know what you might encounter. Turns out the same rules apply when it comes to summer workwear (just with less fleece and Gore-Tex) — when it’s scorching hot outside, it can very well be freezing in your office so your outfit better do double duty.
Tomorrow on Global BC Morning I’ll be sharing a few looks that will help you survive both the heat and AC. Set your PVR, mom!

I just took an inventory. Turns out all my favourite kids’ shoes are from the west coast: cozy hand-knit slippers by Padraig Cottage for winter, cool water-friendly sneakers by Native Shoes for summer. And for little ones who are just learning to walk, these beauties by Minimoc.
They were a gift from my friend Surina and while I don’t want my littlest one to grow up too fast, I am looking forward to outfitting her in them. They’re the best of the best (coast).

The Anthology’s Pinstagram column marries the dream (Pinterest) and the reality (Kelsey Dundon’s Instagram photos of places and faces in and around Vancouver).
Seating arrangement. My midcentury Danish chairs that replaced the sofa that used to sit under that window + a blush sofa that could replace anything it wished to.
In bloom. My desk looks like spring + so does Rachel de Ravenel’s bench (photographed by Diana Koenigsberg for C Magazine).
Wading pool. A sunny weekend in Whistler + a sunny series of pools.
Backyard. I put up a tire swing in an effort to turn our backyard into a playground + I should just give up because this backyard hideaway is the coolest.
Seeing red. I stopped into Coach to meet with their team and shoot with my bright red phone + a red hot suit.

Five years ago one of my girlfriends gave me what was perhaps the most unflatteringly ridiculous of unflatteringly ridiculous dresses. Seriously LOOK AT THIS THING!
But then with a little (of my tailors’) magic it was transformed. Read up on this piece from The Anthology archives.
Add metallics to any old thing and you have instant glamour. Mix in some pastels and you have the most winningest of winning combinations.
Wear: Karen Walker One Splash sunglasses.
Where: The extraordinarily cool Shugaa Dessert Bar in Bangkok, which is inspired by sugar crystals and, just like sugar itself, something I can’t get enough of.
