In order for an employee to pay overtime, their supervisor must sign and validate an overtime form and submit the form to Corporate People Services. In the short term, as a priority, ensure that your internal wages and other systems are changed to reflect changes in overtime, penalties and leave delimitation, including the interaction between leave and work allowance. Such a reassignment would be done with the agreement of the employer and the worker, rather than undertaking an unsatisfactory work process, in accordance with Clause 24. When a worker is informed by the business manager to work outside his or her normal work schedule and the worker is subject to less than 24 hours to work on those overtime hours, the worker will be reimbursed for reasonable child care costs.
