What I Love Most About Summer Weekends…

… Mini umbrellas perched on pina coladas, banana-scented sunscreen, tanned toes, naked hippies at Wreck Beach and of course:

    MUSIC FESTIVALS!!!

There is so much to love about music festivals. The food (from couscous to cotton candy), eccentric folk in crazy costumes, the guy that’s been passed out under a tree for the day, painted camper vans, going barefoot and…

    … THE MUSIC.

    Fingers crossed!

What I love most about summer weekend fun:
Sangria season, bbq’s, picnics, trips to the island, and reading a good book in the sun.
A music festival would make summer even better. Girl Talk, the Zolas, and Metric are worth the trip up the Sea to Sky.

The best part about summer weekends is getting to do absolutely nothing but be under the sun! I love the freedom of not having work and getting to listen to music and dance around with friends!

I love laying on the beach, listening to some good tunes with some good friends, enjoying some good drinks. What else would you do in the summer? Oh right, attend awesome music festivals!!

Live music, hot fires, lakes and lazy days. Dazzling sun and hot summer rain.
Ignoring clocks, just telling time by the brightness of the sky.
Vitamins soaking into my skin from the rays of the sun, and fresh produce.
Evenings that go on and on, followed so soon by beautiful mornings.

After-glow of summer carries me all the way to
    Thanksgiving…

    Summer makes me
Quiver with excitement, and a happy
Understanding of the cycle of life.
    Awesome
Memories are made while living purely
    In the moment and
    Sharing
Happiness with other lovers of joy, laughter and sunshine!!

    I want, I want, I want! :D

BBQ’s, Bike ride on the seawall, and hanging out with friends on the beach

Summer without music (and music festivals of course) would be like winter without snow. Not the same.
The best variety of weekend summer involves music festivals, the Chief, being in BC, and kicking back in a cool indian-inspired maxi dress…. with an oversized cocktail.

BCBGMAXAZRIA is by far my fave. I love the shorts. :)

My favorite thing about weekends this summer has been running into farmers markets, ex boyfriends (that I actually like) and beautiful places…completely unexpectedly. The sun just brings out happy moments!

(It also reminds me to be patient during my less-happy moments…)

I love reading the Anthology, but haven’t entered for any of these awesome give-aways yet. Fingers crossed!

My favorite Summer weekends in this city are spent surrounded by friends trying to make the most of every second. I love music festivals, and would love to take a friend with me to check out some awesome music in an absolutely beautiful setting!
