I have a girlfriend who chose orange as her favourite colour when she was little because she felt sorry for it (everybody always seemed to pick pink or purple).

I think she would like these gloves. I spotted them at Holt Renfrew’s fall preview and fell in love right away. Ain’t nothing more ladylike than a pair of gloves (Audrey Hepburn would totally agree) and there ain’t nothing more fun than bold, bright colours (Crayola would totally agree).

Wait a minute. Summer has barely begun in Vancouver and I’m already excited to dress for fall? What is wrong with me?

Hahaha oh my gosh, picking orange as her favourite colour because she felt sorry for it is THE most adorable thing I’ve heard in a while. Your friend sounds like she has a really kind heart.

On a fashion note: Love love love the gloves. Maybe we’re excited for fall because the weather has felt very fall like? That’s the theory I’m going with!

I woke up the other morning dreaming of boots and scarves. Totally in same boat!

Join the club – I feel the exact same way. I guess everybody just gave up on a real summer and instead focuses on fall (including new season shopping). Not too bad either.

Orange has been my favourite colour since I was little too, but I picked it because I love it and not because I felt sorry for it ;) I’ve already started shopping for Fall clothing… I’m totally loving rusty reds and mustard yellow.

That’s hilarious! I felt sorry for white. Who ever wanted the white crayon?! Love the orange gloves.
