Broaching the subject

I shouldn’t admit this, but I’ve collected so many brooches I don’t even remember where any of them came from anymore.

Like the little clear crystal one in the top right — it may or may not be the one I found in an antique store in Belfast. I just don’t remember (because I have one quite similar).

Which means this collection is more of an addiction than anything. Brooches Anonymous, anyone?

I don’t think I’ve ever worn broaches. But I did have a phase where I put pins and buttons all over my purse though.

Teresa — Well, then, m’lady, it’s time to get on the broach train.

    Janet — They’re so fun, aren’t they?

Erin — Why not cluster them together?

Bri — Yes! Full-on broach mode it is.

I think I saw a post a while back with your whole jewelry collection (if that’s even possible). You have so many!

    Those brooches are beautiful.

I can never figure out a good place to wear a brooch…. although you are inspiring some ideas ;)

VancityAllie — Places to wear broaches? How about the grocery store?

Etrapar — A giveaway!?!? That’s brilliant. Except then I’d have to part with them. Don’t know if I can bear that.

Miss Neira — I never even thought of making them, but that’s such a great idea. Dressew here I come!

Could I please have the coral broach?

    Ooooh I adore broaches.

I only have a couple of them though.

Mikes great aunt has about a zillion gorgeous “vintage” broaches (they weren’t vintage when she bought them) so i’m trying to stay on her good side in hopes she’ll send some my way haha.
