There’s no place like home

Honestly. When it comes to candy-apple red shoes, The Wizard of Oz is the first thing that comes to mind. N’est-ce pas?

Except my Toto isn’t a terrier, but a calico cat.

Then there’s my bold “gold” necklace.

Where’s it from? Not Kansas, friends, but Italy. In the ’80s. Or so the story goes.

I like that your Toto is a calico cat. I love your outfit, the stripes, the gold, and your ruby red slippers, they all work so well together. It’s perfection.

I have some red shoes that are broken but I don’t want to throw them out as they’re so beautiful.

I WANT those shoes! The t-strap reminds me of Daisy Buchanan and the color reminds me of Dorothy – two of my favorite fictional characters on the planet! By the way, cute kitty!! :)

SofiaSophie — Getty says “thank you!”

Cafe Fashionista — Oh man, now you have me thinking about my favourite fictional characters. Ummmm… Snow White, perhaps? She’d totally wear those shoes.

Sherin — So true. Everything else can be dark and gloomy when you’ve got sunny shoes.

I’m sure Leroy would make an excellent Toto as well! Fab shoes, not just the color, but I adore the t-strap. I have flats in that color which brighten any outfit as well, but unfortunately it’s way to cold to be wearing those at the moment… sigh.
