High — Low

It’s a fun game to play — which pieces did you find at a thrift store in Vancouver and which did you find at Printemps in Paris? Answers: Dior scarf from Paris, thrifted belt from the ‘Couv.

Speaking of low/high — this dress once had a much lower hemline, but it felt far too heavy (even for fall) so I had it raised.

The wishbone belt buckle makes me so excited for American Thanksgiving. (Yes, I celebrate all the Thanksgivings North America has to offer.)

The Givenchy tights? They make me kind of excited to dress for cooler weather. But only kind of.

my mom is american so we used to celebrate both thanksgivings too {double turkey & stuffing… i was a lucky girl!} unfortunately this tradition has seemed to fall by the wayside…perhaps it’s time to resurrect it!

    very cute outfit!

The moment I saw this dress, I thought “I bet she had the hemline raised” ;-) Very pretty and I love the tights as well. I”m still not excited about dressing for Fall, but I’ve now been forced to, because I’ve caught a cold (thank you husband) and I’m freezing… sigh.

I like the scarf a lot and it is the colour of red autumn leaves. I always wonder if the pretty tights are drafty.

When you wrote “While you’re off flying, I’ll be on the ground waving and cheering you on.” I smiled widely, that is sweet of you, may all your phobias result in such generousity of spirit ;) X.

That’s the best kind of game :) I really love that scarf… definitely very Fall!

You mix and match really well… although if I saw you on the street I’d pretty much assume everything you were wearing was expensive :)
