Quelle — I know! Ever since learning about it in art history, I’ve been dying to see it.

Robyn — so funny you mention Adam&Eve, I would looooooove to stay there — I actually posted it a little while ago http://the-anthology.com/2009/03/my-two-favourite-websites-on-the-internet/

I have been several times, you are going to have an amazing time! I am sure that you have a whole list of must see locations but if you are looking for ideas… here are some of my favorites (many of which I am sure you are already planning on seeing:

    – the Grand Bazaar
    – Hagia Sophia
    – Dolmabahce
    – Topkapi Palace
    – Blue Mosque
    – Bebek (a street that has lots of great restaurants and views of the Bosphorus) anyplace that you eat here you have a stunning view of the city.

    Hope this helps!

    Be :)

Oooh, I love Istanbul! But that’s the only place in Turkey I’ve been to. Are you just going to the city or different other places? Basically everything creative Be listed is a must. I loved the Spice Markets and all the mosques. I would just roam the city, it’s quite bohemian and the food is divine. I hope to go again real soon. There’s also a ferry that takes you across to ‘Asia’ if you want to set foot on another continent ;-) You’re going to have a great time!
